Green Movies

We are a new not-for-profit organisation with the intention of using the medium of film to promote and influence positive change towards a sustainable future for people and the planet. We hope to use this as a forum for people to come together and talk about environmental issues in a social situation by providing a delicious and environmentally friendly buffet after the movie screening. We always aim to include a Q&A session and/or a guest speaker to increase the event experience and to help create and expand existing dialogues. Our events support local ethical business, community organisations, charities, NGOs and environmental activists. We will use any profit raised during the film screenings to fund complementary events, including activities such as seed bombing, building natural bee hives, tree planting plus a range of seminars and workshops. We hope to bring together existing networks and create new ones. Come and be a part of it )

You can find us on facebook, email us at greenmoviesleeds@hotmail.co.uk, or call 0113 2171930. Our next event is on the 14th April at the Heart Centre in Headingley, for full information and tickets please see: http://greenmoviesflow-autohome.eventbrite.co.uk/?ebtv=C. If you can help us spread the word we’d be very grateful!
